Finally a new trick by Orange Mauritius! They’ve setup a SpeedTest.Net Server in Mauritius. At least now we can get near-real estimations of our ADSL connections, but not for MyT!

Beware MyT users!!!

Don’t test to this server, you’ll get local speeds (i.e. around 2Mbps). Instead try an offshore server if you wish to test your international connection speed (preferably some server in the US since most of the sites we access are hosted in the US).  Seems MT will incessantly try to fool its users, how cheap! :@
